Good As Golden (Globes)

Fashion makes me smile. In fact, I love award season, because the dresses and accessories, the hair and makeup--all of it gets a front row seat. So from now until March, you will be finding the occasional fashion post over here.

The Golden Globes are the first on the docket. Or I should say were. Two weeks ago, A-list stars got all gussied up as they reward the best in TV and film. (Though granted, the best is all relative. For each has a different opinion on it. Trust me, there were two big awards that I did not agree with the outcome. But nobody asked me.)

Compiled below are my ten favorite outfits. Not necessarily in any particular order, BUT I definitely loved them. So here we go:

 Leslie Mann in Dolce and Gabbana--Oh this dress has so many things going for it. The first thing I noticed about it was the peplum, something that is so on trend right now. I'm a fan, which aided in me loving this dress. Black lace is also classy. Subtly sexy without looking sleazy--at least with how Leslie wears it. And her alabaster skin, red hair and the red lip. It's timeless.

I am not the biggest fan of the hair (it looks dingy). But I can look past that. Everything else is flawless. So it is enough to give her a pass.

Michelle Dockery in Oscar de la Renta--If you remember last year, Lady Mary was my best dressed at this very event. And in 2014, that trend continued. I adored this outfit. Let me count the ways.

High/low hemlines are also very on point this past year. Some can go too risque; others look too trashy. This one is classy. The color, while it could be considered to wash her out, steers clear of that due to the embellishments. Once again, the red lip against her alabaster skin tone makes it all pop. And I LOVE her hair. Bobs freak me out (bad childhood experience), but on her...I kind of wish it was era appropriate for Downton Abbey.

There is nothing I can fault in this look. SO Michelle Dockery would be my top pick.

 Julie Bowen in Carolina Hererra--This outfit has ended on MANY worst dressed lists. In fact, I think on all of them. Even my dearest friend hated this look. But me....I found myself loving it.

Another trend lately is color blocking. Now, it has to be done right when it comes to the color palate, complementary colors and all hat. Reds and purples, being in the same "family," do work together. And I love when a woman is willing to make a bold statement with her outfit. Too many times do we have metallic and black and blah blah blah. Don't get me wrong, they are also fantastic. But so was this.

Yes, I see that the bodice resembles velvet. Yes, the shoulders do resemble 80's and 90's padded shoulders (which we all abhor). But I love it all. It's hard to explain and describe. I loved the hair, even though some called it matronly.

I know I'll be in the minority on this one, but still, Julie rocks it, in my opinion.

 Melissa Rauch in Ramona Keveza--Yellow is a VERY tough color to wear on the red carpet. More often than not, I hate it. It makes one look like Big Bird. And while I have fond memories of Big Bird, I wouldn't want to look like him at the Golden Globes.

Two women wore yellow on this particular night. One wore it terribly, but Melissa pulled it off with great aplomb. For one thing, it is a more fitted down. Going A-line with this color would not be a good thing. Second, the dropped sleeves...it gives the illusion of Belle a la "Beauty and the Beast." Which once I realized, I fell in love with. I mean, being a Disney princess for an evening. Don't we all have that dream?!

Her hair being a messy updo and her eyes more "stark" prevent the dress from going into too sugary sweet territory. Personal taste would have the neckline higher. But thankfully the cleavage isn't too overbearing.

It is always nice to see the Big Bang Theory stars get out of their "nerd clothes."

 Cate Blanchett in Armani--She is known as the main woman of couture. Cate can wear the most bizarre fashions and yet, they look flawless on her. I never know what to expect when she will walk the red carpet.

Sometimes with couture, it can go horribly wrong. OR it can go blissfully right. Thankfully, in this particular instance, it went in the proper direction. It is modest (even the low back is tasteful). It makes a statement. And it looks vintage. Retro, if you will. Her hair and makeup continues along those lines.

Does it look almost too Little House on the Prairie? It could. But I think it manages to avoid that territory, especially the nude underlay with the black lace. That is an entirely modern element. So there you have it--mixing the timeless with the new.

I like this a LOT. The Golden Globe winner was definitely golden

Julianna Marguiles in Andrew Gn--I have never heard of this designer before. But apparently, this was a custom made gown for the Good Wife star. And the designer had to recreate it in four days when the original got lost. I must say, he did a beautiful job!

The gold detailing is very unique and it keeps the dress from being just an ordinary black dress. That would have been horribly depressing.The nipped in waist is a perfect way to "flaunt your figure" in a classy way. Yes, perhaps if more of the dress had been nipped, it would have been a better "fit" for Julianna. But as a fashion friend of mine wrote on her blog, mermaid dresses are done so often. I'm glad Julianna steered clear from that. Besides, it isn't really her style anyway.

I also love that she wore her hair up (which I have discovered she probably does because it's down on her show ALL THE TIME). But it is soft. Too many times has she worn it too austere.

But not on this occasion.

Olivia Wilde in Gucci--There were three, pregnant A-list stars to walk the red carpet at the Golden Globes. And in my personal opinion, Olivia did the best job of them all. Now, this dress translated better while presenting the award (the fluidity and general movement of the dress. Yes, that does happen). Still, it is a stunning dress.

This color is gorgeous. I don't believe any other actress wore this shade which makes her stand out. The blingy nature had Olivia go understated with the jewelry. She didn't need much anyway. I love her kohl-rimmed eyes and on this occasion, I don't mind ombre hair. The loose waves are just the thing for this dress.

Overall, on my fashion sites, I have been impressed with Olivia's maternity style. This remains true on one of Hollywood's biggest nights.

 Giuliana Rancic in Lorena Sarbu--I immediately fell in love with this dress when I saw it. I would say it was my second favorite behind Michelle Dockery. I did not get to see this initially, but it was through browsing picture galleries that I found it.

I pay attention to the presenters briefly. And I'll admit that Giuliana is my favorite most of the time. The burgundy color pops. The illusion neckline is stunning. It flatters her reconstructive surgery that she had after cancer. It's not the typical style of gown that she usually wears.

I have not loved Giuliana's latest haircut recently. Until now. I don't know if it is how it is parted, styled, curled, what have you. It is gorgeous. The only thing I do not like with the whole ensemble is her clutch. I look at it now and it seems like a cell phone case.

Oh well. Inconsequential detail.

Jenna Dewan Tatum in Roberto Cavalli--This woman looks FLAWLESS. Granted, it is unrealistic how she looks, coming off of baby being born and everything. Though it could be her dancer background! Regardless, I am so impressed with her outfit.

Its vampy style is something that I enjoy. Because if it had been all white, that would have been too bridal. The detailing is unique. It looks like a spider web. But it does not look costume like. And the red lip she went with is more dark and subtle.

The emerald earrings and hair are also more subdued. Allowing the gown the chance to be the main attraction. Well, that and her husband. =D

 Allison Williams in Alexander McQueen--I end with one of my favorite stars to watch. Her style is very classic. Audrey Hepburn-esque in a way. Allison wears many different styles beautifully. There is a grace about herself.

The neckline is what makes this dress. It's different. It does look awkward. But if it were not there, this gown would look like a typical sleeveless dress. Talk about boring. Especially because we are talking about a black and white color palate here.

But it is McQueen. He's all about being different. Allison let that label do the talking, even down to her hair....and you know. It all works

You Knew I'd Talk About It, Right? ;-)

 There are two things heavily documented on this blog:

1.) My love of Kate Middleton
2.) My love of all things British

So yes, what is this blog without some pictures of the latest addition to the Royal family. I will unashamedly admit that I stayed up ridiculously late once I head that the Duchess had gone into labor, seemingly thinking that she would have the baby sooner rather than later. Yeah right. Who was I kidding? That labor took forever.

I was the one who read every article after the baby was born. I was the one who even turned on CNN to watch recycled info....just because I was that obsessed. And yes, I will be the one who buys the special addition of People as soon as I see it on the newsstands.

I am so excited to watching William and Catherine be parents. I actually think they will be quite good ones. Kate, being a "commoner" will keep her child down to earth; William, ever sensitive since his mother's death, will do anything and everything to protect that child. And this might be my hopeless romantic nature talking, but because William saw what his mother went through, I think William will also do anything to protect Kate--and I do believe he will remain faithful to her.

As I watched them greet the public, I thought of how normal they looked. How much in love with each other they were. This article in particular made me smile. And I read one just today about how William plans to take his son to his mother's gravesite this fall.....what a bittersweet moment.

I'll admit, I wish his name were a little different. George Alexander Louis is a bit big for this little Prince, although I know he will grow into it. While I wish his parents had gone down another avenue (still British but slightly more modern), the beauty of naming kids is that you can name them what you want.....and apparently, William and Kate had no input from others: these were their choices.

Now I'm intrigued to see who his godparents will be. =D

I'll always remember where I was when I found out he was born....I was actually at Chipotle eating lunch when my phone went off with a barrage of texts. In a world where we remember negative instances of "where we were," it's good to have a positive and happy one.

Hats and a Pair of Pajamas

It was a VERY weak showing in Fashionland this week. Some weeks, it is just like that. However, two very different things stood out to me.

Firstly there was the pajama trend. That is what I said--Sophia Bush in Smythe is wearing a pajama look. A blazer and matching pants in that silky material one would expect.

Now, I HATE pajamas on the red carpet. They belong in the bedroom and no where else. That being said, I am actually in love with them on Sophia. Perhaps it is due to the fact that the top more resembles a blazer than it does a pajama top. Also, the red accessories POP! The heels (which I say you can wear with anything--even nighttime wear), the clutch, all of it helps make things more classy as opposed to lounge wear.

I am also in love with her hair and makeup. The red lip, the enhancing of the eyes, her hair style. I find it stunning!

So while I do not see myself wearing pajamas on the red carpet any time soon, when you tailor it and accessorize it properly, you can get away with it.

The other thing that stood out was how I am in LOVE with British fascinators. Seriously, people mock the outrageous head wear that can be worn and I will admit, sometimes it is extreme. (Princess Eugenie's zany piece at the Royal Wedding anyone?) Yet when they are done tastefully and serve to enhance an outfit rather than distract, they are gorgeous pieces.

In fact, I'm buying myself one. No, I'm not joking. I found an ETSY shop that sells them for reasonable prices and I am "going" as Kate Middleton for Halloween. What is Kate Middleton without a fascinator? I also have a wedding to go to in November--an outdoor one....why can't I wear it to that to.

Don't they say....when in doubt, do what the British do? Oh wait, it is "when in Rome, do what the Romans do." Aw, well, you get the idea.

It was Royal Ascot in Britain this past week. Yes, the horse races--the one in "My Fair Lady" that Henry Higgins gets Eliza Doolittle ready for ;-) And the following are my favorite hats---and I promise, mine is not going to be that outrageous!

You cannot go wrong with classic red and black. The A-line dress is very vintage and classy, perfect for a day at the races!

Or look at the black and white ensemble. I love the hat on this one--though I know it won't be for everyone. It screams classy and elegant. I love that the British have more occasions to use those adjectives than we Americans do.

I do love to see the British willing to be bold.....and you can't go more bold, in my opinion, than orange and hot pink. It makes a statement and yet manages to not overwhelm at the same time. I'm torn with wanting more hot pink and feeling that there is enough......

Fashion, Fashion, Fashion

Another week of fashion and another week of winners (at least in my mind). I really hope you aren't getting tired of these posts. I know I'm not getting tired of them at least. LOL

Third week in....and Emmy Rossum in Naeem Kaan is one my blog yet again. Seriously, does this woman ever make a misstep in the fashion department? What I love about Emmy is the vintage feel that I always get from her. While this isn't completely Flapper-esque, I do get a 1920's vibe from it--probably because of the beading/sequins and pattern. I love the red dress and lip, the loose locks....it is just overall gorgeous. Am I right? ;-)

For once I am on board with something Jennifer Lopez is wearing. You see, I'm not the biggest J.Lo fan. I didn't think she was that great of a judge on American Idol (CRITIQUE LADY!). I do not understand her fascination with her boy toy (aka her way younger boyfriend). And she, well, she normally dresses like a slut. But not on this case. Jennifer looks chic and feminine. In fact, I would totally wear this outfit to work. From the white pencil skirt, to the pink top and nude pumps, it's put together and age appropriate. I know J.Lo is probably afraid of being perceived as the "old woman", but if she does this, she won't have anything to be worried about. Not that she is listening to me.

I only know Darby Stanchfield slightly (from a guest appearance on Castle.....I think). However, when I saw this Georges Hobeika gown, I immediately fell in love. You see, I love sparkly gowns that scream vintage, I love red hair....it's a win all the way around for me.

I will say that now that I pay more attention, I find a lot of modest gowns on the red carpet. No, there is still a lot that I hate, but classiness does exist. I applaud actresses who bring it to the forefront.

Hailee Steinfeld in SportMax is so cute in this electric blue dress. I enjoyed seeing her make her red carpet debuts back when she starred in "True Grit"--and I continue to be happy when I see her. I positively love her hair. The color on her looks flawless. My only gripe is that the shoes and the clutch are the exact same color as the dress. Now, I'm not sure what color I would do to change it (definitely do the clutch in black), but Hailee is definitely walking a fine line of being two matchy matchy---but I will not hold it against her.

She looks too cute!

January Jones in Mary Katrantzou is wearing a patterned dress--and I personally believe patterned dresses are HARD to pull off. Prints can sometimes be too big or too bright, but this one look nice. Again, this dress is vintage and fits the fact that she is in a TV show called "Mad Men" ;-)

Her hair is also really cute. I do wonder what she would look like as a brunette......yet I do think she should keep being a blonde. Her costar, Elizabeth Moss, went blonde instead of being her usual brunette and I am not sure how I feel about it.

Anyhow....

There is a website I read that has exposed me to some Chinese actresses and their fashions. Man, some of them have impeccable style and class. Jian Tian in Georges Hobeika Couture is STUNNING. As soon as I saw this, my jaw hit the floor. This gown is amazing!! I love the subtlety of the flowers, the ballgown nature of it...I cannot find a flaw.

Oh wait, I would love to see what the total package would have been had she worn her hair up. I think the gown would have made even more of a statement. That being said, her hair is lovely....

Another gown I adored this week was Patina Miller in Zac Posen. As soon as she walked up the Tony Award stage to accept her award, I was in awe of the way it flowed. Does that sound dumb? Liking the way that a dress flowed? Because this one had a gracefulness to it. The pattern is also subtle giving the gown more opportunity to stand out.

Zac Posen is one of my favorite red carpet designers. He just has a way of making these amazing gowns made for award shows.

Side note: I ADORED the Tony Awards. Say what you will about Neil Patrick Harris's personal life (and I will go on record and say it is one of the greatest tragedies that he prefers men over women), Neil should host every stinkin' award show! HE WAS AMAZING! But I will go more on that later. ;-)

Natalie Dormer in ALICE by Temperley is a gorgeous girl. She has very distinct facial features that have her stand apart--and she was GREAT in "The Tudors." I like this dress, yes, but I love her accessories more. Her shoes are SO great. I want to add them to my wardrobe--if only they weren't so much money. And I love her hair and makeup. It is carefree and easy and effortless. It is a perfect look for a screening.

 Last but not least is my girl Stana Katic in Max Mara. Jumpsuits are near impossible to pull off; I don't even want to attempt it on myself. But this burgundy color looks great on Stana's skin tone. Since Castle is currently on hiatus, I have to take whatever red carpet appearances I can get. While I love the one shouldered top, the draping effect borders on something from Star Trek.....and I don't even know where to start on the Grecian crown. It does not go with the outfit.

Fashion Faves This Week

*Another weeks has closed which means another look back at fashion is upon us. Never fear, my hope is that you will have several posts looking at you this week. Everything from my thoughts on Star Trek (in a word: Awesome-ness) to a retrospection inspired by a reality dating show. Yeah, it's kind of varied around here. But in the meantime, these are the fashions that "rocked my world" this week.

Kerry Washington in Jason Wu began my week with a colorful start. I love seeing bright hues on the carpet and rarely is yellow one of them. Perhaps most people know that it is a hard color to pull off. All I know is that Kerry looks fantastic in this color...but then again, she often looks flawless and fantastic. Believe it or not, one of my favorite things about this look is the crisscrossed open back. Because the front of the gown is so minimalist, I believe that calls for some visual contrast--hence the open back and the pleating. I'm not the biggest fan of nude lips, but I will make an exception in this case.

At the same event was Miranda Kerr wearing Proenza Schouler. (Yeah, I hadn't heard of that one either). I absolutely adore the vintage nature of the dress; it screams 50's glam to me. I love jewel tones, the red lip, and the hair pulled away from the face. Considering she is an (ex) Victoria's Secret model, I am very thankful that this dress has more of a demure quality to it. I border on thinking that it is too boxy in the chest region and border on liking the "subtle sexiness" as it were. What do you all think?

Making another appearance on here is Emmy Rossum in Oscar de la Renta. Seriously, this girl always dresses flawlessly. I would love to own this green and purple dress ensemble as it screams summer to me. Now, I hate the ankle strap shoes (I hope this current trend goes away soon. For petite people like me....no, they don't look good on ;-)) However, I love everything else from the dress to the hair and pale pink lip. Emmy is proof you do not need a stylist in order to look put together in Hollywood.

Angelina Jolie in Ralph and Russo is also on here again. Two weeks in a row I am blown away by her style. (I cannot say the same about her partner, Brad Pitt's, fashion, but we shall not go into that.) I love me some peplum, but wow, I adore this structured peplum! It elevates the look so that it is more than a white sheath dress. The gold belt/detailing also adds a crucial element to the dress. Angelina also remains on trend with the white shoes which apparently are very "in" right now. I thought they always were. Ah me. ;-) As long as Angelina keeps putting effort into her fashion, and gaining these results, I will be pleased.

Now, I am torn about Emma Watson's Antonia Berardi look. It screams "fall" to me. Not that that is a problem per se. But it looks like wool--and the last thing I would want to be wearing is wool in the middle of summer. That being said, Emma looks flawless. I love the addition of the belt versus the runway model's styling. And I ADORE her hair color and style. The pronounced side part is very fun and this whole outfit is one of chicness. I would wear it to work--but in September and not in June.

It is a fact universally known that I LOVE Carrie Underwood. However, when I saw this dress she wore to perform her hit "See You Again" at the CMT Music Video Awards, I about fell out of my chair. I adore this dress. Some critics said it was over the top girly--but to me, that is who Carrie Underwood is. She loves that side of her and I do as well. The blush pink and crystal embellished tea length dress was flawless from head to toe. I wish I could have gotten the close up picture to work. Her makeup looked natural and light and her hair was in a loose updo. Yep. I loved it and her performance. So much so than a particular singer and her hot pants. (*cough* Taylor Swift *cough*)

Lastly, I must bring to attention the royal wedding that occurred in Sweden this week. I love living in the United States, don't get me wrong. There is no other place I would rather be. However, the concept of royal weddings and heads of state coming in regal dress....it's all very appealing to me. Well, the final two fashions are of Princess Madeline of Sweden who married American Christopher O'Neill. The wedding dress was designed by Valentino  and the "rehearsal dinner" gown is Elie Saab. Now, do I love her dress more than I love Kate Middleton's? No....because Kate is Kate....my unashamed girl crush and obsession. However, I appreciate the short sleeves over Kate's long sleeved gown. However, I do think Sweden is more "libral thinking" than the UK is so that could explain the fashion differences. 

But the Elie Saab gown....Elie Saab is one of my favorite designers and I love his gowns. Period. End of discussion. And I love her hair. It kind of reminds me of Kate.....yes, I look for Kate everywhere ;-)

Favorite Fashions From the Week

**I have decided to do something once a week on my blog....and you know what, I might be the only one who enjoys it. That's okay ;-) But I thought it would be fun to highlight between five to ten of my favorite fashion looks from the previous week. After all, I *do* have to get the fashion in here somewhere!

So this week, I have my five favorite looks. They aren't ranked in any particular order. Still, I would love to hear your thoughts on them....or any other fashion-y things that you have noticed this past week.


Emmy Rossum was wearing a designer I had never heard of--Bibhu Mohaptra. Yet, goodness, do I wish I had this dress in my wardrobe! I love this in so many ways. I love the patterns and geometrical shapes. The neckline/sleeves are unique. And the black paneling gives the illusion of cutouts without being actual cutouts. Add to it her hair and soft make-up. I love it

Emmy is one of a precious few in Hollywood who does not use a stylist. Looking at the job she does....doesn't it prove that having someone tell you what to wear is highly unnecessary?

Heather Graham wore another designer I am not familiar with--Talbot Runhof....and I love this one as well. She might be at the Paris Premiere for The Hangover 3, but she looks utterly classy and chic. White and black will always be a surefire winning combination. The short sleeve only on one side, along with the detailing on the bodice, adds playful elements to what is otherwise simple. I do appreciate that she kept the accessories to a minimum; if she had gone crazy, the gown would not do the talking. Hence why I am okay with her hair being pulled up. A down hairstyle would have been another competing factor.

 Victoria Beckham threw me for a loop when I saw this picture. She was actually wearing something of color!!!! You have to understand that when I say she doesn't wear color, I am being dead serious. The woman wears predominantly black and white. So when I saw this Carven skirt--I fell in love. The skirt not only has color....it is a Renaissance inspired print on it. I am not sure I would wear it because I probably couldn't get up enough courage. But Victoria does it flawlessly. Pairing it with a simple white shirt and shoes that I adore....I think this is a great outfit to wear traveling through the airport. (Though if you want to get technical, she should ditch the glasses while indoors and add a smile....but oh well =)

 Angelina Jolie has been in the news quite a lot lately. Perhaps you have maybe seen the magazines or news articles commenting on the preventative double mastectomy. That has been a controversial topic among people, so we won't get into it (although I have my own opinion....don't I always? ;-) However, she looks AMAZING at her first red carpet appearance since surgery--in a custom Saint Laurent gown. Normally, Angelina leaves me underwhelmed, like she doesn't put much effort into her appearance. Not so on this occasion. I love her hair, her makeup, everything. The dress is flawless.....and I'll just go ahead and say it....her reconstructive surgery looks impressive.

She's glowing to me!

Samantha Barks is one stunning gal....and I want this outfit for myself. I mean, the silhouette is gorgeous! The blue especially is stunning...and it shows off her svelte figure to perfection. And yes, I am obsessed with hats and fascinators. Actually, I will be buying one for my "Halloween costume"....but that is beside the point. I know a lot of people do not enjoy the British's fascination with hats....I think it just adds to the look. Yep. You couldn't ditch the hat =)

OH MY EYES!!! AKA The Worst Dressed at the Oscars

Here it is--the last post in my Oscars Fashion Series. Hope I haven't bored y'all too terribly ;-)

Brandi Glanville has no reason to be at the Oscars. I'm sorry, but the Real Housewives has no business being on TV, yet alone having representation on a red carpet walked by the likes of Grace Kelley and Audrey Hepburn. Yeah. That's how I think. Brandi is wearing one of her own designs.....and oh gosh, it deserves the trash heap. It is wrong on SO many levels. There is too much boob action going on. The slit, which not too horrible, is totally unnecessary with all of that skin up top. It looks ill fitting and really, NUDE? Don't get me wrong, I like a flesh toned dress every once and a while, but with so much skin as it is, do we really need the illusion of further nudity? Yeah--someone who is trying to be a Somebody is trying way too hard for attention. She got what she wanted--it was just for all the wrong reasons.

Yep. You all knew she would wind up on here. Anne Hathaway wore Prada and I was left was such......blah feelings. Firstly, it was ill fitting; it made me chest way too pointy a la Madonna ;-) The color is boring. And the necklace clashed, either with the high neckline from the front or the open, split hemmed back. I do like her hair, which trust me, I haven't liked too much of late. Supposedly the story goes that Anne was going to wear a Valentino gown, but when she heard it would resemble a dress too closely to that which a costar was wearing, she went with plan B. Oh trust me, I have seen a picture of the Valentino dress--it was gorgeous. Anne could have wound up on the Best Dressed list.....but she didn't on this occasion. I am ready for her to wow me once again. Sadly, I'm not sure if that is going to happen any time soon.

Kristen Stewart in Reem Acra is one that I call Dead Woman Walking. Seriously, will this girl ever look happy, alert, and awake?!?!?! This dress is just BAD people. It doesn't fit her well,  it looks as if it is about to slide off. Her hair looks like a combination of "I just got out of the shower" and "I just rolled out of bed." Even the necklace is cockeyed. And watching this girl present--she spoke with a deadpan voice and kept looking at her feet. This girl cannot act and frankly, they should have someone else presenting at the awards. Yes, color me not impressed. I never have been and I never will be.

Another one I will NEVER be impressed by is Heidi Klum in Julian Macdonald. Will this woman ever wear something to cover her top half?! I mean, gosh, she is screaming for....uh.....you know where I am going with this. I don't even like the hair. The day Heidi doesn't try to A.) look like a slut or B.)look like a disco ball, maybe I will give her the time of day. But she wound up on my Worst Dressed Golden Gloves list and now she is on this list. I think she is going to be a staple on her. And I shudder to think that she is now going to be on America's Got Talent. Will she dress like this on primetime TV?!

The woman I am dying to see do better is Melissa McCarthy in David Meister. Sigh. I know she is a curvy, plus size girl....but I want her to take some hints from Octavia Spencer--who knows how to dress for her body type. This color is the most unflattering on Melissa and the ruching on the skirt hits her at her widest part. You want to draw attention AWAY from your problematic parts, not have them be glaringly obvious. I'm not sure the solid color did her any favors either. Sigh.

So there you have it all!! Another fashion season done =D
